Gabdo Tamboutou Mohaman is an international development professional based in Montreal. He is a strong advocate for sustainability as a cornerstone of socio-economic development. His expertise spans program management, strategic planning, and resource mobilization, with significant experience in climate resilience, international cooperation, and the health sector.

He is currently a Senior Development Officer at the McGill University Health Center Foundation where he plays a pivotal role in identifying, executing, and securing funding for high-impact projects while aligning donor interests with organizational priorities to advance sustainability initiatives.

With over 10 years of project management experience in sub-Saharan Africa, Gabdo’s profesional focus is on leveraging strategic partnerships and resources to drive socio-economic impact, particularly in the context of development initiatives. This has seen him lead over 15 development projects centered programmatic areas such as environmental resilience, community development, and capacity building.

He has co-authored articles within the development sector, including "Regional Financial Integration and Inclusive Growth in African Franc Zone Countries" for the Economics Bulletin and "Development Project Management and Economic Performance in Central African Countries."

Gabdo holds an MBA from the University of Wales, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a couple of international development/cooperation related certificates from the University of Laval and Université du Québec à Montréal.
