Rebecca Wall-Clarke
Rebecca is an Internal Audit Executive at CDC Group, the UK’s Development Finance Institution. CDC’s mission is to support the building of businesses throughout Africa and South Asia, to create jobs, and to make a lasting difference to people’s lives in some of the world’s poorest places.
In this role she is responsible for providing independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve business operations. She evaluates and improves the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes covering all areas of CDC’s operations. This includes analysing direct and intermediated investments, environmental and social due diligence, valuation of emerging market assets and business integrity. She is involved in implementing the IFC Operating Principles for Impact Management and reviewing development impact reporting.
Prior to CDC, Rebecca worked in the Banking Division of KPMG London and in the Financial Institutions Audit & Assurance Group at Deloitte Toronto. Rebecca is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a degree in International Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto.
