We will discuss effective strategies for enabling long-term financing for NbS in mangrove ecosystems, as well as how to unlock financing for blue carbon and related ecosystem services. By bringing together Canadian and international experts, the event aims to share valuable insights and strategies for scaling successful NbS initiatives. The event will feature an opening address by CAFIID, followed by an engaging panel discussion with prominent leaders in the field. The day will conclude with a networking session, offering a unique opportunity to connect and exchange ideas on advancing sustainable mangrove ecosystems and climate resilience.
