As a CAFIID GLI CoP SteerCo member, you will contribute to the development of GLI CoP programming, facilitate GLI CoP’s members’ knowledge-sharing, and promote GLI CoP members’ thought leadership within the Canadian and global impact investing community. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with your GLI CoP members and GLI industry peers, strengthen Canada’s position within the global GLI ecosystem, and support GLI CoP members and CAFIID members at-large in integrating gender considerations into their investment and technical assistance strategies.
What to Expect
Monthly CoP Meetings: Participate in a virtual monthly CoP meeting (on the first Thursday of the month at ~12:00 pm EST).
Monthly SteerCo Meetings: To plan and oversee the coordination and execution of GLI CoP programming (on the first Friday of the month at ~12:00 pm EST). Additional coordination and communications may take place via email, WhatsApp and/or through ad hoc meetings as needed.
Programming: Contribute to the development and/or delivery of one program per month for CAFIID’s GLI CoP members, plus occasional special events.
Knowledge-Sharing: Support the production and dissemination of case studies on GLI, engaging with GLI CoP members and others to showcase real-world applications.
Intern Support: Provide mentorship and guidance to GLI CoP interns, helping them develop their professional skills, and gain industry insights.
Time commitment: A minimum commitment starting May 2025 and lasting ideally two years, until June 2027.
We are seeking committed individuals who are passionate about advancing GLI and can actively contribute to the GLI CoP’s dynamic community. CAFIID Board of Directors (Board) Members and Committee Leaders (e.g., SteerCo) are committed to observing and promoting the highest standards of ethical conduct in the performance of their respective responsibilities. CAFIID’s Board and Committee Leaders pledge to accept the CAFIID Code of Ethics as a minimum guideline for their ethical conduct.
This opportunity is open to CAFIID Members.
